Overview:
Fortnite is 100 player Battle Royale game. With many weapons to use, a lot of locations to drop into, and many Victory Royales to earn. Fortnite has been out for almost 3 years now and it’s still one of the most played/popular games ever. They come out with weekly updates with new items, cosmetics, weapons, and more! They fix almost every bug immediately even right after an update. They have had many crossovers with popular brands, movies, shows and comics. They separate every big update into these Seasons. These Seasons included a Battlepass which includes a bunch of cosmetics, when the new season comes out usually there are new POI’S, Point of Interests/Locations, along with new weapons and sometimes the retiring of old weapons.
Gameplay:
Fortnite is in a third person view which makes the game even more interesting. There is also a mechanic which no other Bttle Royale game has done before this is that you can build structures. You can build to rush opponents or defend yourself from enemy fire. In the recent months Fortnite had completely made a new map. They kept only 3 of the Original locations while everything else was completely new. Something else that makes Fortnite special is the fact that there is in game events that you as a player can interact with. Fortnite’s 1st ever interactable event is referred to the rocket event (Season 4) people all gathered around to watch this video game historical event. This Rocket event was caused by a character name The Visitor and once his rocket had failed to destroy one of the most popular POI’S it had exploded in the sky and caused a Rift to appear in the sky which was drawing things from the real worl into the game world. Then in all of the next seasons they added hints towards what would happen during that seasons event. After the rocket event there was the cube event (Season 5).The Cube was summoned/created from a lightning strike from the rift. The cube was referred to as “Kevin”. Kevin slowly moved its way around the original map and once it got into the maps lake it destroyed one of the POI’s and made it into a floating island (Season 6) which once again started to go around the map and started to make runes. Those ruins eventually made anti-gravity zones. During this ongoing event Kevin had spawned a new hellish amount of zombies all around the map. The floating island made its way back to the POI it originally destroyed and then drawed the energy from all the ruins which caused Kevin the floating cube island to explode and send all of the players into a different dimension (Season 6). After escaping the dimension the POI had recreated itself, but then energy from the explosion had brought things closer to the island than expected like a frozen kingdom on top of a iceberg(Season 7) which crashed into the island. Over the weeks having the iceberg on the island, eventually the being inside had caused a massive ice storm which had covered the whole island in snow and the return of zombies. The next season (Season 8) had also brought a new extension to the island. A volcano. The volcano had started to erupt towards the end of the season but before we get to that during this season the newly recreated POI that was destroyed by Kevin was getting mined out and revealed a huge vault storing all of the retired guns from previous seasons. Once the vault was open players were sucked in and were able to vote for a gun to be unvaulted. Once this happen players were shot out of the vault and volcano has finally came time to erupt. The eruption destroyed 2 POI’s and were the restored in the next season (Season 9). The map had been more “modernized” the new restored locations got more of a futuristic vibe. During this season a monster had been created in the iceberg. The monster eventually broke out of its Ivey prison then made its way to the water. When it broke out it also had destroyed the POI above it. Then during the season over by the volcano it had now turned into a power plant and the vault had also turned into an energy system for the new futuristic locations. But over by the volcano a mech had started to be built. Once the mech was finished, the monster had finally submerged from the water and it was a full on battle between the 2. The mech overalled won but when getting the upper hand the mech had pulled the vaults energy source out of its socket and now the unknown energy had started to effect the next season (Season 10). The energy that was formed in some type of orb had exploded and created time vortexs. These time vortexs brought back old locations and locations that have never been seen. Some locations had special items and mechanics only to that zone. But the real major event was when the rocket came back with several other rockets to destroy the orb and once the orb was destroyed and the whole game shutdown and when you tried to log back in, all you saw was a black hole. This happened for 3 days. But once those 3 days were gone we saw a new island and locations and thats were we are right now.
Review:
Fortnite achieved things no one thought possible. Constant updates, taking and using feedback from the community, something always happening in the game. Fortnite is truly a game that isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Rating is 5 out of 5

I take various models from Fortnite from their files then plug them into a app called Blender to make custom poses then transfer the model into Photoshop to apply the background and I have then have officially made a Thumbnail.
