Plot/Gameplay:
This game only has storyline so there will be very minimal gameplay descriptions. From “No Russian” to “An Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend” this CoD games deserves this newly remastered edition. Spoiler Alert: The rest of this article will reveal the plot of the game, read with caution. The various CoD characters you play in the game are Soap, Roach, Rodriguez, and James. James is the tutorial character and sadly he dies while being in deep undercover work while trying to learn more about a man named Markov. While the game goes on you join Task Force 141. Both the CIA, Task Force 141, and the Rangers are leaded by General Shepard. You, Soap, and the infamous Ghost are trying to find Captain Price. You invade a snow mountain base to gather more intel on the situation then go to South America to interrogate the man called Red then you escape South America with your teammates. Then Ghost , Soap ,and you go to a Oil Rig to rescue hostages and gather intel to find Price. Then you and your team go to a gulag to rescue Price. You all make out in one piece and Price is back in command but he has his suspicions about Shepard. Taking a break from the 141 we go to the military group called the Rangers. The Rangers go to various areas in the U.S fighting back against Markov’s men. The Rangers eventually end up in a Warzone at the Washington Monument. The Rangers push their way forward getting rid of Markov’s Heavy artillery and men. You eventually take down Markov’s air support but then suddenly a nuke has touched down in the U.S. but the nuke is a country wide EMP getting rid of any type of Machine. The missile came from a Submarine the 141 were trying to stop but luckily by not stopping the missile because of Price they ended the war in Washington. Shepard commands the 141 to tie up some loose ends by going to 2 places were Markov has been spotted. Ghost and Roach go to a cabin in the middle of nowhere, while Soap and Price go to Afghanistan to find Markov. Ghost and Roach gather a lot of intel from the Cabin but no sign of Markov what so ever, same thing with Price and Soap. Price is thinking something is wrong. Ghost and Roach make it back to the pick up spot to deliver the intel where Shepard is waiting for them. Shepard takes the intel then says “Good, that’s one less loose end” then shoots Roach and Ghost then dosing in gasoline then burning them. As tis happens you can hear Price saying don’t trust Shepard. Price and Soap realize they can’t trust anyone anymore. They call in Nikolai an old friend to come pick them up. After that they ask Markov’s help to get rid of Shepard, and Markov gives some intel but only a location. Shepard and Soap make it to the location take out Shepard’s men then pursue Shepard in a boat chase. But both boats fall of a waterfall and end up crashing in the desert below. Soap kills of any remaining enemy’s then finds Shepard and finishes him off in a very satisfying knife throw to the head. That’s it for the Campaign.

Overall very fun to play! It’s nice to relive these missions again. Hopefully we get a remastered campaign to! Rating is 5 out of 5.
